About Me
I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2016 with a bachelor’s in kinesiology, starting my career at Boston Sports Clubs for nearly four years. When COVID hit, I pivoted to virtual sessions, which my clients loved—so I kept them going, later adding in-home training in Norfolk County, MA once lockdowns eased.
Now, at 31, I’m in the best shape of my life, but it wasn’t always that way.
As a former high school athlete and early trainer, I faced my share of injuries—a shoulder impingement that made lifting painful, an ankle sprain that sidelined me for weeks, a lower back issue from a summer moving job that left me momentarily paralyzed in pain, and chronic knee pain I felt on every stair. Instead of visiting a physical therapist, I decided to research each one deeply, and fix myself through broadening my knowledge of potential exercises and understanding of proper form. That journey taught me how to train safely and powerfully, and now I help others do the same—whether they’re healing from injuries or building strength to prevent them.
I’ve worked with clients from 7 to 75, tailoring plans that meet them where they are. My younger clients discover athletic potential, often excelling in sports or picking up new endeavors like running, rock climbing, or rowing. My older clients slow bone density loss and gain the strength and awareness to prevent falls, keeping them active and independent. Each challenge they bring, I dive into with research, experience, and a focus on safety, crafting workouts that push them forward without risk.
My philosophy is simple: fitness forever. Too often, we chase quick fixes for a season—a wedding, a beach trip—then slip back into habits that leave us struggling. I’m here to change that, offering the knowledge and mindset to make fitness a lifelong habit. You don’t have to get ready if you stay ready. I live that every day, and I’d love to help you do the same.
